Hi-Hope Service Center is a nonprofit organization that provides quality services and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We were honored to help create and design the invitation and marketing material for one of their charity events, The Harvest Moon Gala. We went with an elegant rustic fall design to complement the theme of the event and venue.
The beautiful gatefold is a representation of the wooden chevron barn doors that open up to an exquisite barn elegantly decorated with beautiful lights and a dance floor. Without overpowering the invitation, we added delicate touches of leaves within the logo and throughout the design to give off that soft fall feel. It was such a joy to work on these materials and play a role in this awesome event.
The last few months have brought the opportunity of building a close partnership with our neighbors, BulletROOF. With their significant growth and presence in the Atlanta area came a need to revamp several pieces of their marketing collateral. We enjoyed refreshing the look of several customer forms and product flyers, as well as updating some public outreach items such as door hangers, direct mail postcards and billboards creations. With the recent opening of their new office in Buford, Georgia, we were also able to take part in branding and personalizing their office space with the design and printing of a 16-foot wall mural and several oversized photo canvases. Their bold color combinations, sleek look, and informative content attract and build trust with potential customers, providing them with the knowledge, assistance and confidence they need to move forward making the right decision for their home.
We recently had the opportunity to build a new website for our friends at Phoenix Roasters, a local coffee roastery based in Duluth, Georgia. Phoenix Roasters buys coffee direct from coffee farms in Panama, Guatemala and Honduras, which ensures their coffee farmers and families maximum compensation. Each bag of Phoenix Roasters coffee sold helps provide resources for domestic relief projects in our community.
This was a great project not only because of the impact they’re creating, but because they are some of the best people to work with. The Phoenix Roasters team came to us with a clear and defined vision for the website and we are so excited to have brought that vision to life. We value our relationship with Phoenix Roasters dearly and are pleased to be their marketing partner.

Truckers Mall was founded in 1996 and provides products to individual truck drivers as well as fleets of truckers and manufacturers of trailers. Looking for a way to increase sales through web traffic, Truckers Mall founders Pete and Boris placed their trust in finding a solution with VDG. Based in Chicago, Truckers Mall provides the best products available to the trucking industry, from safety products to custom mud flaps.
The previous website (pictured below) was built in html code and although it was functional, it was time consuming to update the site with new products. Looking to offer a better user experience with a new website, VDG designed the website on an e-commerce platform, setting the site up with more than 1,500 products to start.
Since launching the new website, thousands of other products have been added by the Truckers Mall team, with continued support from our web developers. Visit them at www.truckersmall.com.
After developing the logo design and corporate identity, established investment group Abernathy & Timberlake reached out to us to also brand their new company’s online web presence. Abernathy Development Company is focused in major markets in high growth areas, specializing in retail development. Abernathy Development’s current projects vary from restaurants to shopping districts, all in highly populated destination regions throughout the south.
Principals of the company envisioned the clean look and high-end feel of the logo and marketing collateral to carry over to the website. It was important for prospective clients to have the ability to view their current and past development projects. We were able to showcase both through an organized and informative approach. Visit them at abernathydevelopment.com.
We recently had the opportunity to partner with Abernathy Development Company on creating their logo and corporate identity package. We worked with them to examine and analyze their mission, long-term goals and vision, company philosophies, and their position in the marketplace.
From there we created a logo and brand standards that accurately reflects them, their story and message. As this new company is brought to market, we ensured that their brand guidelines were clear and consistent so that they can be easily carried across all marketing channels.
With the rise of craft beer availability in Georgia, it has become more important than ever before to stand out from the crowd. So, when Jekyll Brewing approached us with an idea for their new seasonal sample pack, we helped their vision come to life.
We created a cooler design that will be displayed in package and grocery stores across the Southeast. Adding three-dimensional, life-like design elements and texture, such as condensation, folds or tears on the stickers, ridges on the cooler and shine on the metallic handles, made the finished product something that craft beer consumers will want to pick up and check out. In a nod to their Southern roots we called it, “The Southern Sampler” pack. The response has been overwhelming and Jekyll Brewing told us the product is flying off the shelves. Jekyll Brewing makes really great beer, but coupled with great branding, they now have potential to be a true force in the regional craft beer scene.
